Integrated Magnetics, the Tucson Arizona custom magnets, motors and precision assemblies manufacturer plans to begin hiring between now and mid-February, according to azstarent.com.
It was also announced that the company plans to open a large, Class 1000 clean room for the assembly and testing of sensitive products. The company already uses a small clean room for the assembly of electronics.
Integrated Magnetics was found in California in 1955. Since that time, the company has manufactured products for NASA (supplied complete magnetic bearing assembly for NASA’s Space Shuttle in 1993), Honeywell, ASML, General Atomics, and Aliiant Techsytems.
