usp797 Compliant Wipes

Blue Thunder Technologies announces a new line of usp797 compliant sterile wipes, available in dry and presaturated options. These validated sterile wipes were designed to provide quality and cost-effective wiping solutions for aseptic environments and where sterile compounding is performed. Blue Thunder’s sterile wipe line is ideal for wiping a variety of surfaces and equipment. They are not intended for medical use.

Wipes available are made of various non-woven materials including polypropylene, polyester, and polyester/cellulose blends. They are virtually free from particulate generation, making them suitable for a wide range of cleanroom levels including ISO 3-4 (Class 1-10) or ISO 5-6 (Class 100-1000).

Blue Thunder’s sterile wipes are Gamma Irradiated using Cobalt 60 radiation and are validated to SAL (Sterility Assurance Level) of 10-6 in accordance with the standards and recommended practices of the ANSI/AAMI/ISO 11137:2006 guidelines. The sterile wipes are designed, manufactured and packaged to meet or exceed guidelines set forth by usp797 as well as the upcoming usp800. Each individual package is identified with a lot number for traceability and a Certificate of Sterility is included with every case.
