Students that take part in the two-credit course, titled semiconductor processing lab, at the University of Arizona will have access to a new and revitalized class 10 (ISO 4) cleanroom practices lab.
The course is designed to make students more marketable for jobs in the rapidly evolving semiconductor assembly fields. It’s all part of engineering program in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering at UA. The program gives students the tools to move into the hot market that features possibly the most well known semiconductor manufacturer located only a short distance away in the Phoenix area – Intel.
