Inside Glimpse of NASA Cleanroom at Glenn Research Center

NASA Clean Room: An Inside Look

In this photograph, members of the Research Instrumentation and Sensors Branch at NASA Glenn Research Center work in a clean room. The team fabricates micro-electrical mechanical systems (MEMS), such as pressure sensors and electronics, for jet engines and other high-temperature applications.

In a clean room, the air quality, humidity and temperature are controlled to prevent contamination of sensitive material like MEMS.
